Why do Girls scream?

I was doing some homework in Emily's (a fellow RA) room with Chris and Emily. At about 10:37, we heard screams coming from down the hall. Emily and I look at each other and with the same look on our faces (the are you kidding me face). We thought that it was just a spider or an ant. Chris rolls his eyes and says "I am not killing anything for those stupid girls." The screaming continued, so Emily and I decide to go make sure everything is okay. We located the room of panicked/laughing girls and asked if everything was okay. The panicked girl in the room explained that she thought she had been shot. Her roommate and the other girls in the room erupted into laughter. Apparently, someone was outside in the quad and had a green laser pointer and had shined it in their window. The laser landed on the girl and she started screaming, which caused the other girls to scream too. Sadly, the girl had not been shot and luckily we did not have to kill a mouse or something.

Let's start at the very beginning....

I am beginning this blogging journey at the request of my dear friend, who shall remain nameless. I am visiting said friend in the beautiful state of California(hint, hint). This week has been so refreshing for multiple reasons. I am a college student and I rarely come in contact with small children. Being able to play with three little balls of energy is a change of pace from my freshmen residents. God blessed me, before going away to school, by placing two couples in my life when I needed guidance. Unfortunately for me, God needed them elsewhere. This week has given me the opportunity to catch up on the two years of change in both my life and their life along with some hard labor. In short, spring break is coming to a close and I can't imagine doing anything else.
